A Gay Superman!?!?! NOOOOOOOO

Lately, with all those superheroes mania from The Avengers, I am more prone to comic news. Yesterday, I stumbled upon this piece of news about DC comics might turn one of my favorite superheroes into a gay superhero.

I personally have no problem with a gay superhero, (I have a few good friends that are gay, and they are the kewlest) but please don't touch my superman! :D

I would be most delighted if they introduce a brand new gay superhero instead of turning an old one gay.  After all, I don't think superman would just turn gay after chasing Lois Lane for such a long time. :)

Documentary: What sank the Titanic?!

After a crazy hectic week at work, I finally have a day off tomorrow. I think my plan is to visit the exhibition of Titanic at Stanley tomorrow.

I don't know about you, but history stuff never gets old for me. :D  This website provides tones of documentaries which I am interested to watch.

I am gonna stop my Taiwanese shows for awhile and brush up on my English skills in preparation for my SFO trip. :D

Preparation for The Phantom of the Opera! :D

Can't believe it's mid-Apr already. :D I will book my opera ticket in May :D

So excited to go see the custom built theater for The Phantom of the Opera at Venetian! :D

To brush up on my ability to sing along, I bought the 25th anniversary CD. :D

Here is the very original version of the same song with the very original casts, Steve Barton and Sarah Brightman.  I think in here, Ms Brightman's voice was not as smooth and matured as her later performances.

Here is a newer version with Michael Ball as Raoul. I think this version is much better, especially Ms Brightman's voice is so much smoother.

My favorite Gene Kelly

It was my day off yesterday and I was in the mood of some Gene Kelly! :D

Yesterday's Gene Kelly Marathon included, "The Cover Girl" and "Du Barry was a lady".  Both were new to me.

I was surprised how beautiful and sexy Lucille Ball was back before the day of her "I Love Lucy" sitcom era. :D  I loved her in "I love Lucy" too, but that was her "funny girl" kinda image that got me impressed, not her foxy looks. :)

Hugo vs. Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (SPOILER ALERT)

I just watched both of these movies in the subject. Both of these movies are about a boy and a mysterious keys!!

I couldn't help but find the uncanny similarities of these movies.

• The protagonists are both kids who just lost their fathers in some kind of sudden tragedy.
• Both of these fathers are very close to the protagonist who always encourage the boy to think / adventure / solve problems by themselves.
• They ventured out the find the key/keyholes which the keys fit in the hope of finding the message left behind by their fathers
• In the process of finding the key/keyhole, they gain friends and love.

Which one I enjoy more?  I think I like Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close more because it's more dramatic and real. I haven't cried so hard for a movie for a long time.

I bought the book of "Extreme" when I was in Spain last year, it was not a bad read either.

噴鼻血！

我覺得我開始 evolve into a cougar :D

之前都講過我呢排迷上了吳尊，　一看到有他做 cover 嘅　magazines，　就買。　最近買了呢本。　呢本係好吾簡單嫁!!!

把 cover 介開，　不一樣的天空啊！！！！

雖然那些 abs 係用了太多 airbrush, 但我看了後個心好像坐了過山車咁，　人都癲了!!!!!

昨天寫到為了那個　吳尊尊　而春心盪盪盪。。。

昨天趁放假，　終於清理呆放咗兩個星期嘅台灣行理箱，我都忘了, 我在第二次夜遊士林的時侯, 又做出了情不自禁嘅 買買買!

 就是這DVD，　那店員還對我說： "這個是正版的, 我給你Copy 的平一點!", 我一口便用很有自信的國語回答: "沒關係兒, 我買這個就可以啦!" :D

呢部"花樣少年少女" 係有吳尊尊＆S.H.E. 嘅 Ella 演出嘅, 我呢三個月已煲咗起碼三次. 嘻嘻. 不全是因為my吳尊尊喇，　而係劇中演員和情節實在係超攪笑，把我隱藏久了的幼稚和活潑嘅心境一次過喚醒了!!

老實的說, 去年的人生經歷, 翻覆起落, 我真的累到忘記了怎樣放鬆自己。　雖說用煲劇去麻醉自己係爛了點，　但可以令我輕鬆地像個傻婆咁大笑，誰敢說不可!!! :)

我沒有咁叻去寫劇評喇, 但早前讀了一篇"blue phoenix灰姑娘穿的鞋子" 寫的, 我好agree嘅, 如有興趣, 不妨看看。

資深美少女 之 春心盪盪盪盪.....

近期狂煲台劇去減壓, 發現了現在D 台灣偶像劇嘅質素真的比我少女年代時高了很多, D 帥哥多到吖!!!! 仲要幾帥有幾帥添! 哈哈哈!

近期嘅心境係好像一個心傷痊癒了的失戀少女一樣, 重新對男生偶像有興趣囉... :D

繼 廿年前迷上金城武 後, 現看中了呢個從芠莢去台灣嘅 吳尊!! :D  每每見到佢在 magazine cover  便會情不自禁地買!買!買!!!

今日又比我找到一本囉！！！！！當堂個心都 春到盪漾起來。。。　嘻嘻嘻!

雖然係９月嘅 edition, 但依然很帥。。。　呵呵呵！　當然啦，　照片係吾會有過期日喇!

I love the whole world - Boom De Ah Dah!

Lately I didn't have much time to catch up on my Discovery Channel Watching. When I finally have time today, I found this music video in that channel which truly touched my soul....

It made me feel the world is so big and we humans are so small. There are so much to love and why there's still wars in this world?

It's the shorter version you can now commonly see on the Discovery Channel. The difference is that Myth buster's Adam actually sings, "I love to try stuff" instead of just singing "Boom De Ah Dah!" Love them 2 guys! :D

接著昨日的"O運saint火令"特集...

在我上班前, 我特別把第四段的saint 火接力tape下. 現在看著汪明荃笑著把saint火接下, 真的需要重新declare:”　:D 我愛汪明荃! hehehe :D　”

關於這個”人大”　暨　”八和會館主席”　暨　”京華春夢”　女主角　汪明荃，　我細細個就鍾意佢ｏ家啦! :D

記得細個時(大概 6years old)有一次在伯父家中食飯，汪小姐唱live of the ”京華春夢”　theme song...　我可惡的堂大佬恥笑汪小姐的　”雞仔聲”, 我為咗defend　汪小姐，　我流了我一生人為一位明星流嘅第一滴淚, 嚇得我堂大佬恥笑埋我tim! :D :D :D

廿八年后嘅今日, 我finally可以在我的blog上記載:”我當年沒有看錯這位上海姑娘的Greatness! :D

Side note:
After the torch run is done, the sponsors went up to the stage to say how they help this "Green Olympics". Coka Cola, one of the sponsors says: "Oh we set up environmental friendly fridges everywhere, so the athletes would be able to buy our coke!"

Heh, I doubt a smart athlete would crave such a drink if they want to win some gold medals :D
