Happy Halloween!!! :)

It's the 31st of the 10th month of the year!! It's Halloween!!! :)

Too bad there's no "Trick or Treat" activities in Hong Kong as we live in high rises.

I remember though, in the first year I went to Vancouver, I went trick or treating with my little god sister, Rene (契妹) for the very first time of our lives. :D

We didn't even have any concept of what a real costume is back then. :D So after a brief discussion, we figured, we'd both be "sleeping beauties". :D So, our costumes were simply our night gowns. Those that is like a dress robe. :P

It was strange, but in deed very good childhood memories. :D

If I were to trick-or-treat this year, I think I'd be... "Pukka" :D Below is a picture of pukka. I will be the girl with 2 buns :D

發現新大陸.... I mean.. 便利店！

I got off work today early and walked to a little farther bus stop to go home (pretend I did some kind of exercise that way :D).  Suddenly, found this 24 convenience store I had never heard of or seen near my work!!

It has a strange name called V>nGo. I wonder what exactly does it mean.

I went in and checked compared some of the goods with other stores, seems it's a little bit cheaper. Mind you, still expensive, but cheaper comparatively.

:D Just excited about this new find is all. :D

小胖胖登場!

我老友, 老劉 前陣子去了美國會見 老李, 她特地買了 一個 'fat cell' 公仔比我. 我叫佢做 '小胖胖', 因為身為 '肥中女' 的我, 對'肥' 呢個字好鬼厭惡, 但 '胖' 呢個字聽落 cute 點, 所以我呢隻新 pet 仔 嘅名 就係咁 o來 哪! :)

My best friend, Viv went to USA a couple months back to meet with Professor Lee. :D She bought me a 'fat cell' microbe doll! :D It's so cute! :D I named it "Chubby" instead of "Fatty" :D.

Being a fat middle aged lady, I am sensitive (in a negative way) about the word 'Fat'. "Chubby' sounds cuter, therefore I gave this new pet the name. ;D

小胖胖擁有我 都有我一對 '牛咁眼' (Chubby has the same starring eyes as I -_-) :D


另外, 呢個係佢嘅 'o念' (deep thoughts) look. hehe (This is its deep thinking look. Must be brainstorming what to eat next!) :D

前陣子，我 won 咗個 HKCCA award, 但好可惜我早已 book 咗去台灣, 我不能去那官方頒獎典禮, 所以公司便派我 老細, 楊楊 ＆ 老細的老細, 加得事 出席.

原本他們想只是一個普通的晚宴, 衣著只是一般的便可以. 但由於我對這個宴會做了些 research, 我便 alert 佢地要 '汁' 得 formal 一些.

楊楊 起初不很相信, 我只好引導佢上去 HKCCA 個 website, 看看去年的 相片做參考. 佢一看便覺得 '太 formal 了'.

加得事 剛好加入戰場 但 楊楊 還未去到相片那 page, 所以在呢個寻找 web page 的過程裹便有了這番有意淫味道的對話囉! :D

小菌女添丁

粱煥松先生又給我靈感! 他友人家中有 " 小狗女添丁 " , 我家中的小 pet virus 都添丁囉!　

Mr. Chris Leung had inspired me once again. :D He had just published a blog post about his friend's dog just had doggie babies. My little pet virus also just spawned some of its own offspring too! :D

Today is my first day of work after my 11 days long vacation. :) Although I wasn't able to attend the 2008 HKCCA award gala dinner, my boss had accepted the award on my behalf.

I was so surprised how heavy the award is. It's made of glass and with my name printed on it. I also got a huge bouquet of light purplish roses from the head of my company too! So honored and humbled by this event.

家嚴的書法

昨天, 我的好友'老劉' 上了我家坐, 她曾說很喜歡我爸爸的書法, 但很可惜自從上次寫完了個 '靜' & '忍' 字給我的boss 之後, 他便收山了.

不過, 由於 '老老何' (我係老何, 咁我老爸自然係double老) 視 '老劉' 係世 姪女咁, 佢又出山咧!!

由於'老劉' 係信佛嘅, '老老何' 今次除了寫個'靜'字, 仲寫咗個 '佛' 字添!

Hotspring is so good!! :D

Wow!! :D We have just returned from the Beitou hot spring area and also the Dangshui area!  It was so much fun :D

Hot Springs is highly recommanded! :D Made our skin so smooth :D

Tomorrow, I think we are just gonna chill out. :D Maybe will go to 西門丁 in the afternoon. :)

For now, we are both beat! :D need to relax some more. :D

Hotsprings here we come!!

Taipei's weather is just perfect right now. Not too hot, not too cold. Perfect for a hotspring trip. :D

So that's where we are gonna go today. :D

Due to technical difficulties, I apologize for no photos during this period :D hehe  But once I get back to HKG, I assure you pictures will be plenty. :D

So far already managed 500+ :D with a 13 minutes long movie about us on the ferris wheel! It's most fun and romantic!!:D

Before I forget, we also visited the Jumbo Floating Palace in HK!! That experience is memoriable!! We rode the sampan for an hour touring the south waters of HK islands also.

So freaking tired!! We just came back from the city after the hearty peking duck / begger's chicken feast! :D

My knees are weak, my calves are melting! :D

The massage I promised Mr. MonkeyMan must be delayed until we both rested. :D

Dream Chronicle VII: Internet and D. Trump!

I had a vivid dream this morning once again!! I find it usful when you tell somebody once you wake up!

Mr. MonkeyMan and I were on a sight seeing tour. I don't know where it was we were going, but it's a modern city with lots of colorful lights and tall buildings.

I had done all the researches before we went but somehow, there are some details I have missed.  We went to this "Star Trek" themed "Internet game site". I guess it means you have to go into their building before you can play the game.

Since I love Star Trek, I begged Mike to go with me. And since he like it too, he went too.  Upon arrival, we were told that we had to get through the tunnel first.  You'd think what's the big deal about going through a tunnel??

Well, the tunnel is a competition ground!! A bunch of us gamers are waiting outside for the 'entrance game', which is about linking up with each other.  The game guard with say, "GO!" then all of us would try to find someone to link with, or else we'd be kicked out of the tunnel!!!

Somehow, I got 'delinked!!', but MonkeyMan still stayed in!! :D Since I was kicked out, I was mad at him for letting me just go by myself!! :D

I went wander around the city alone and saw a comic store. It's not an ordinary comic book store, once you went in, it's like you'd become a character in the comic instead of just being a reader.   I saw it was produced in USA so I got bored and left.

After I left, I saw Donald Trump! :D hehe His signature hairstyle is memoriable. :D Anyways, we seems to be good friends from long ago, so I asked him, 'why the hack are you not in your limo??'.  As he was just wandering just like I did.

He told me, "My driver told me that I was fired!" hahaha What irony! :D

Anyways, so I walked along with him a bit until we saw a Hong Kong Tram and he seems to be fasinated by it because Mr. Tump has never rode on a tram before.  I became his personal tour guide and we took the tram home.

That's when I woke up and punched Mr. MonkeyMan lightly on his shoulder about leaving me along in the dream. :D hahahah

Dinner was so good!!

For only HK$350! We get to eat shrimps, clams, steamed scallops, spicy crabs, steamed fish and baked fish intestines in eggs and veggies.... :D

We too tired now. Will post some pictures up tomorrow. :D

人在長洲

Cheung Chau is so kewl!!! :D It's a quiet yet vibrant island!!!

We had some big prawns and roasted pigeons for lunch!! :d

Later tonight, we'll be meeting up my parents for a seafood dinner too!! :D

My boss has a habit of calling people's name with some kind of food because of the closeness of the sound in Chinese... :D I think it's interesting. :D

Frances = 蕃薯　(Yam, we call it "Fan shu")
Marvin = 馬糞　(Horse shit, we call it "Ma Fun" - well this is not food in peaceful days.. but in desperate time, it might come in handy! :D)

I have officially won!!! :D

In August, I had the opportunity to participate in the most prestigious competition in the call center customer service field in Hong Kong.

Surprising, I have won the Gold Award for the Inbound Agent category!! :D  The news was announced through my bank officially today although I had known about it for 2 weeks or so now. :)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the dinner due to my trip to Taiwan. :D Nonetheless, it's a very memoriable page of my life. :D

I was watching a Panda documentary on National Geographic Channel and realized I had visited Ocean Park back in 2005 and saw An An's feeding session there. :D

Pandas are such cute animals. :D

3 more days before my holiday!!! Yay!!

Can't wait to spend some quiet, relaxing time with Mr. MonkeyMan! :D

For some reason, I am kinda excited about going to Cheung Chau. It's an island I haven't been to for a long time, or possibly never in my entire live! Mind you I am born and raised in Hong Kong!! :D hahaha

LaBean's Library (Travel Books Section)

I always like to do research about the place before I fly there. :)  That's why I have so many travel books. :-)

Ever since Mr. MonkeyMan and I are together, we have gone to quite a few places together... :)


Let me think...
Las Vegas, Beijing, Macao, Hawaii, Monterey, San Francisco, San Jose, and Hong Kong. :D hehe


Why I list San Francisco & Hong Kong?  Well, although we live in these places, in fact, we didn't have time to do sight seeing around our home towns.  Since we are together, we've been doing exploring of our home towns together. :)

Soon, we'll be traveling to Taiwan, I am sure it's gonna be exciting.

It's so much fun when you can travel with someone you love. :)

Wow! A New Record!!

Never once in my computer's entire life had been so stable before!! :D It's been up for 16 days straight without a single disconnection or crash!!!

Such a miracle!! :D I think its last hospitalization really did a good job on this old machine! :D

All it needed was a new power supply and a new case with more space. :D

I just want to share my excitement with you all is all. :D
